A little bit about me

Hey, I'm Ruth

I don't remember a time when I didn't have a camera in my hand. I was facinated by the great outdoors. You could always find me climbing a tree or a mountain to get the best views to capture the perfect shot. If there was a storm coming, you can be sure I would be out on the jetty capturing the waves crashing. These beautiful places are now some of my favorite locations to bring my clients, setting the scene for an amazing portrait session adventure!

Where it all started


I was born with this insatiable desire to explore. Combine that with my camera fascination and a photographer was born. My father was a photographer. He took photographs of the Miss America Pageants for several years. I followed in his footsteps doing portrait and wedding photography, but it didn't fill my need for exploration. What better way to have it all then to spend my time venturing into the world capturing God's beauty so I can bring it into your home and share my finds by photographing my clients in these amazing settings!
